Mercyful Fate’s debut album and one of their songs in the album, Melissa. It is said that King Diamond (the frontman of the band) had a skeleton named Melissa and someone stole it after a show. King Diamond got sad and the band made a song and named the album Melissa in memory of the skeleton. The skeleton was returned to King Diamond but it is nor completely believed that it is the same skeleton. The band made another song named “Is That You, Melissa” in their their album named In The Shadows.
