When Kirk asks Spock what he is doing, Spock replies "I'm preparing to toast a Marsh-melon." further explaining that he was trying out the customs of camping out that he consulted through the Enterprise-A's computer. To which McCoy laughs. Little did Spock know, McCoy programmed the ship's computer to change the name Marshmallow to Marsh-Melon as part of a practical joke.
