Mario is like the hot girl in the group who always gets hit on and gets all the attention. Luigi is the girl who never gets asked out, but she isn’t unattractive or anything — still hot in her own, just overshadowed by the Mario.
I think there’s a Mario/Luigi complex going on with Jessica and Becky. Becky never gets asked on dates, but she’s cute and nice.
