It’s common among MGK Stans. Since Tickets to my Downfall was released they’ve been in full force defending who they claim is saving pop punk. Eminem Stans also do this by claiming he roasted him so hard and made MGK switch genres. The main point they’re ignoring is the fact that Killshot and Rap Devil shows how toxic both of their fan bases are.
MGK Stans: He’s going to be the one who saves Pop Punk. He’s going to do it with his movie.
Eminem Stans: Well Eminem roasted him so hard that he had to switch genres.
People who don’t care: It’s gaining exposure to the genre. The comments on Killshot and Rap Devil show that the majority of both fan bases are toxic. Your MGK Syndrome is showing.
