MCR most commonly stands for the band, " My Chemical Romance ", an American rock group fronted by Gerard Way. They have been criticized for being emo posers. Frontman Gerard spoke out saying that.“I think emo is fucking garbage, it's bullshit. I think there's bands that unfortunately we get lumped in with that are considered emo and by default that starts to make us emo.” They currently have 3 albums, "I You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love", "Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge", and " The Black Parade ".
