A person who lacks the full understanding or knowledge of a fictional work's established lore. Often used on internet forums by nerds to attack the personal opinions of someone with whom they are disagreeing, or used against people that clearly have no idea about a fictional work but are happy to opine as if they do.

A phrase to describe someone who is cognitively degenerating. Synonym of "going off the deep end". Can have varying degrees of severity.
