Someone who is very caring, yet shy at the first meeting. He is extremely selfless. He may think very little of himself. He believes his lifestyle to be boring, but all who know him outside of his "insipid" lifestyle would disagree completely. His family raised him well to be one who is caring, loving and kind. He shows the person that he loves so much more than she has ever known. The world would be much better if there were more Lelands in it.
Leland, also, means "from the estate." The origin is Celtic.
Leland is also very competitive, and is amazing in every aspect. He would show the world his potential if it would allow him to.

A name from the Old English, which means “Meadow Land.” It is by no means whatsoever Celtic.
Leland’s are usually awesome.

A person or character who plays a small role in comparison to the head honcho but he takes over the show by doing everything.
Leland from the show Dog the Bounty Hunter does everything: he tracks down leads, chases down fugitives, cuffs them, puts them in the car, gives them their last smoke, drives, makes dinner (probably), etc. Dog usually yells the phrase "get em Leland !" and then sits back and watches.
