A term used for friends that are ignoring your group text. Like little birds, checked out and singing happily on tree branches while the world spins by them and history is made. These people, the jolly birds of the group text are absent-mindedly living their (less interesting than the group text) lives while a plethora of useful and critical information passes through their grip as the group conversation moves into the future without them.
That Jolly Bird should've never been added to this group text in the first place, their input is irrelevant at this point!
