A theory of conflict which purports that, when faced with an interpersonal conflict, one can choose to 1.) confront the person directly (i.e., "itch it") or choose to complain about the conflict to those who can do nothing to change it (i.e., "bitch it"). Similar to Fight vs. Flight.
Home girl fell pray to the itch it or bitch it phenomenon; she can go on and keep telling her cousin about it, but what she needs to do is talk with dude, feel me!?
