whilst trying to show off, or just having a good time in the company of the opposite sex, something embarressing happens to you, a quick cover-up and rebound it to yeall "it's personal!" to the offending object and pretend that a grudge has been started. this avoids embaressment to you and is, when done properly, a very good come-back. Note: Utilising this term may not actually have the above result but may further enhance your humliation.
I was riding my scooter when i tried to pull a sick trick and landed on a speed bumb. this made me face plant into the gravel. i then jumped up and, infuriated, started attacking the offending speed bump with much ferocity, exclaiming loudly "it's personal!"

In the modern world of female 18-wheeler drivers and "flagger ahead" construction-signs, we can't use "the 'M' word" with regards to our daily paper-media delivery... rather than saying, "We should go look in the mailbox to see if the mailman left us any mail", we need to say instead, "We should to go look in the person-box to see if the person-person left us any person".
