IchiHitsu is the combination of the first four letters of two popular male characters of an anime/manga: Bleach. The characters are Ichigo Kurosaki (the main character) and Toushiro Hitsugaya (also known as captain Hitsugaya)

It is a yaoi pairing (or homosexual) and isn't as popular as other but still liked largely as both characters are popular with females on their own; Ichigo normally as the main character and Hitsugaya has also won first in popularity poles with a movie centered on him. (Diamond Dust Rebellion) which many believe where the couple was first thought of.

Noun: a friend who is usually only called upon by a friend when a more primary/prominent friend is unavailable.

Taken from the term “second string” in an athletic competition situation. In football, if the star quarterback gets injured during a play, the second string is called off the bench to replace him/her. A “Second String Friend” is essentially benched until needed, if ever.
