Also known as a “haiwayku”. The 3 line message on a city’s traffic sign that warns of upcoming traffic problems or encourages positive behavior to avoid a horrible traffic death, fine, lifelong imprisonment, or other socially undesirable quality such as being a disease spreader.

There is no formula to the number of syllables required like in a haiku, but a properly formed highwayku may contain a pun or other play on words leading one to believe it was written by a dad.
I saw another stupid Highwayku today while driving to Grandma’s for Christmas. It said:

Jingle Bells
Speeding smells
Slow down, wear a mask
