Herd immunity is a mathematical protection that hasn't been proven to work in practise.
Sweden is trying to achieve herd immunity by reaching more people that has become infected or have gone through the infection than those who have yet not. (Through the disease or vaccination)
In short meaning it's more likely to come across a person whom should've developed an immunity.

Herd immunity is the mathematical protection of not catching the virus.
Protects you in theory but not in practise.
Idea is that there's a bigger chance to come in contact with someone immune than somebody who isn't.
But that wont save you if you come in contact with somebody carrying the virus. Spoiler; you will be infected.

Too many humans, from young ages, are taught to normalise abuse, cruelty, and discrimination of various kinds. While, in recent human history, we have gained awareness about discrimination against our fellow humans, we are still unaware and/or insensitive to discrimination against non-human animals. When you have such a large human animal population that is insensitive to non-human animal cruelty (aka herd immunity), it is hard to have a real, honest conversation about animal rights. For example, animal rights advocates have to explain why sexual assault of non-human animal is cruel. Why taking babies away from mother pigs or mother cows is cruel.

When the herd of sheeple has become immune to logic and evidence and makes decisions based on popular rumor and emotion.
When enough people get their information about the world from social media, we will have reached herd immunity.
