The impeachment trial of President Trump in December of 2019 drew attention to the issue of corruption in the U.S. government, while at the same time it drew attention away from a massive cyber attack that shut down all of New Orleans’s municipal government websites, which would have drawn the public’s attention to the danger of cyber-attacks on the government.
