A flartie (or flarty) is a flat-party. The word can be used to encompass several types of parties, ranging from cups of tea round the kitchen table, to drinking games and crazy drunken antics involving wheely chairs and sellotape.

A floating party; usually occurs when multiple boats are tied up together and people are having the time of their life on them.
