The county that contains many wonderfully rich towns such as Darien and New Canaan. Known for its ritzy homes, fabulous public schools, rich residents, gorgeous scenery and high-class society. However, crappy towns such as Norwalk pollute Fairfield County's should-be-spotless image. Don't plan on getting a house in this area unless you spend your life trying to impress...or if you don't want to spend less than a mil on a house.

The wealthiest county in the US, its home to preppy, sporty and ridiculously good looking scum. Home of some of the most obnoxious peoplpe on earth, especially those in greenwhich and new canaan, they even look down on people from FC. Best example, stamford. My area, north stamford has a higher gross income than any other town in the FC so everyone who puts stamford in with the "bad areas" guess again, there are appartments here that cost more than homes in those "high class" neighorhoods.

We drink, we smoke, we snort, we have sexx, we are the most pampered generation out there, o and we spend all of our money on cigarettes

Fairfield County, also known as FC is full of preps, gangsters, ghetto kids, and a bunch of other social groups.

Drinking is quite big in the county, and oxycotton and cocaine are quite big in the area.

An event to look out for is BeachFest which is an event that occurs twice a year, but the biggest one is in the beginning of the summer.

It's in southern Connecticut, and contrary to VERY popular belief, isn't full of beer and polos. OK so maybe it is, but not everywhere. Norwalk is NOT that ghetto. We do NOT have keg parties every other weeknight. (though acid and weed are not uncommon, oxy-contin is like not existent) Though we do get SOME ghetto points because 50 Cent owns a house in Newtown, we do not like to think we're ghetto. (at least not a majority) The only reason we are the richest county is because the land and weather is generally pleasant, people constantly move up here, and the real estate has gotten high. Therefore so has tax. Which explains our insane education program. It is very good, but what this place is TRULY filled with is emos and punks. Many of us are actually more likely to be succesful because we get the education. For many of us who have spent all our lives here, we are quite like you guys. Except smarter. The OC is most definitely worse than we are.

Fairfield County is by far one of the most amazing counties in our entire country. While it is true that it is also the 2nd wealthiest county, there are a fair share of unwealthy people. Obviously there are towns such as Greenwich, Ridgefield and Darien which are extraordinarily wealthy, with old colonial homes and men and women holding high-powered business positions in New York. But, there is also the poverty-stricken city of Bridgeport. While Bridgeport is one of the poorest citites in America, naturally it is the poorest in the state, and most definitely in the County. So while 95% of the county and its people is rolling in dough, living the life that 95% of the country wishes they had, there is the other 5% of the county living in Bridgeport being shot at every night and fed bread and water by their "mama" on a daily basis. So not EVERY part is as glamorous, wealthy, beautiful and stuck-up as most of you all think--though MOST of it is!
