When you are drinking you think something is fortunate because you are drunk but if you were sober it would be unfortunate. Because of the intoxication, you see the brighter side of the situation and take it as a win.
Sam was drunk and found a chicken finger on the floor so he ate it. It was drunkfortunate because if he were sober it wouldn't have been a win.
