Drumstep is the incestuous lovechild of Drum 'n' Bass and Dubstep; taking the half-time swagger and wobble from Dubstep and mixing it with the general tempo and cadence of an Amen Break.
A few early stand out producers within this subgenre are Dub Foundation and Heist. Additionally, many current Drum 'n' Bass and Dubstep producers have written and produced Drumstep tracks or remixes. One such example might be Rob Swire's Drumstep VIP mix of "Witchcraft", from his band Pendulum's latest album, "Immersion"
