n. Self- pity of single people triggered by public displays of affection online or offline. These single people comedically refer to themselves as “Single dogs”.
The way this couple began flirting with each other and ignoring me made me feel as if I was being force fed dog food. Don’t they realize I’m a single dog!?

1. A hard, crunchy substance fed to dogs and small children. Usually in a bag with a dog on the front. Which in some cultures can be considered false advertising.
2. A wet substance in cans with a foul odor. Fed to dogs for a treat. Or eaten by the elderly.
