Having it is a full time job that never really gets taught, it's one you learn on the go, every day has new obstacles. There's no 30 minute breaks or vacations & it comes with a lot of responsibility. You can't quit because it's literally life and death

Type 2 diabetes is the most common form of diabetes accounting for 90% of diabetics where you still produce insulin, but the body can't use it properly and is the type of diabetes which you can cause yourself by eating too much fatty foods, calories and being overweight. SUGAR DOESN'T CAUSE DIABETES! No amount of sugar itself can cause diabetes, but if you are prone to gaining body fat easily, then the calories in the sugar can make someone gain weight. 90% of type 2 diabetics are overweight or obese and for some reason I don't know, type 2 diabetes is more common in South East Asians, Hispanics, Latinos, African Americans and Asian Americans than in Caucasians. In fact ethnic minorities are at risk of type 2 diabetes after the age of 25, whereas for Caucasians the risk for type 2 diabetes increases after the age of 40. You may also be at risk of type 2 diabetes if you have a family member with the disease, have high blood pressure, high cholestrol, delivered a baby heavier than 9lbs and lead a sedentary lifestyle. The good news is that type 2 diabetes can be reversible and can be put into 'remission' if you lead a healthy lifestyle such as losing weight, quitting smoking, maintaining a healthy diet and participating in physical excercise.
Type 2 diabetes can be a debilitating disease, but you can save your ass before it is too late.
