Killing a TV show's or movie's main villain in a rushed, unexpected way – without providing more context or consequences.
The term originates from Season 8 Episode 3 of Game of Thrones, where *spoiler alert* Arya Stark unexpectedly killed the show's main villain, the Night King by dropping a dagger and stabbing him. The motivations of the big bad guy were never fully explained.
Similar to jump the shark.

a sensation aroused during the act murdering a close friend, guest, countryman or family member. To provoke such an image, one must stressfully plot murder, stay awake for multiple nights without sleep, and immediately start to plan other murders of people close to you.
