A device used to "crack" the seal on Nitrous cartridges for inhaling the N20 for a high. The cracker is commonly aluminum, brass or plastic and simply accepts a N20 cartridge (intended for dispensing whip-cream) and pierces the seal, allowing the gas to escape in a controlled fashion.
