Something that we all are. Colored does not just mean Black anymore, that is only a stereotype. Here's a list of what color a race is associated with:
European-Americans=White
African-Americans=Black
Hispanic-Americans=Brown
Native Americans=Red
Asian-Americans=Yellow

It shouldn't matter what color you are. I am accepting of all races. There are people of every race that I don't like, but that is the same case with everyone in the country.
I honestly don't care if your white, black, red, purple, or orange, race is not an issue with me!

A racist term mostly used by members of the black community who must make up words like this to perpetuate their pseudo-victim hood status and use them as a club to get what they want which, ironically, disparages members of the black community based on their skin color.
"Hey, that black actor isn't black enough to play a role that I feel should be played by a darker-skinned black person! That's colorism and I'm a racist for judging light-skinned black people for the color of their skin!"

mistakenly thought of as an "object of color", however there is no color 'out there.' Color is merely certain nanometers of electromagnetic energy that (lucky us) our eyes can register as color. Most electromagnetic energy cannot be processed by our eyes, for example, radio waves, or radiation. Thus what we see is only because of our eyes.
guy: hey Stac look at that "colored" person eating a burger.
stacy: wat are you talking about Guy?
guy: umm duh, that black person over there.
stacy: gosh, you're soweak-minded!
guy: wat did i do?
stacy: well for one black isn't even a color and secondly color is only what we see as electromagnetic energy...so yea,
you're just confused and miseducated Guy.
guy: so wat is color?
stacy: good question since no color exists as color lol.
guy: ya lol.

Intuitively, the more intelligent way to spell the phenomenon of light or visual perception that enables one to differentiate otherwise identical object.
"Detour is pronounced dee-toor. Colour would be pronounced kuhl-loor. However, it is pronounced kuhl-er so color is the more appropriate spelling."

(The MODERN spelling of) one of the shades of a prism, like red, blue, green, yellow, etc. Colors are decided by the amount of light that is absorbed or reflected by the human eye. Don't give me any crap about this "colour" shit and it being "the original spelling". Any educated person living in the 21st century knows that the word isn't pronounced "kul-oo-wer". It's 2 syllables: "kul-er" And stop bitching. After all, this is an American website. If it was European, I wouldn't care.
Steve: "The book says 'add two teaspoons of red dye for colour, and--'"
Jon: "What!?!? 'COLOUR'!?!? AAAARRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!! @&%#$!!!! IT'S F*****NG COLOR!!!!!!!!!
