The phenomenon of having to come out as bisexual to the same person/people repeatedly because they assumed or hoped that your sexuality was a "phase." Refers less to the holiday and more to the 1993 Bill Murray comedy film in which the main character experiences the same day over and over.
"My visit home turned into Bisexual Groundhog Day. My mom acted shocked when I told her I'm going to Pride next week, so I had to come out to her as bisexual AGAIN."

A sea-based branch of the United States military that is jointly operated by the Department of Defense and the Department of Homeland Security. During times of war, they assist the Navy. During times of peace, their general duties include: border patrol, immigration control, environmental protection, search and rescue, and stopping drug trafficking into the Untied States.

The USCG is the smallest of the United States' five military branches, but also unique in that it has some law enforcement jurisdiction and is operated by the DOH during peacetime. They perform search & rescue operations, protect ports and harbors, and stop drug smugglers, among other things. Although described by some as Navy washouts, the USCG performs very dangerous duties even during times of peace.
