When a close friend or relative gains popularity over the internet(or any modern media across all platforms) and ditches the said parties due to a boost of ego, they often feel like they are too good for their old non-popular friends or relatives, resulting in abandonment of their past and becoming submerged in only snotty attitude and clout.
