1. Intoxicated to the point of incoherence; 2. Belligerent, confused, and hateful; 3. Wandering about in a drunken haze, shouting obscenities, and eventually passing out (and possibly waking up in a post-apocalyptic desert);
"Dude you were BEYOND Thunderdome last night...you jumped over the bar and tried to pour yourself a drink, then you took your shirt off and fought the bartender while screaming "Freeeeedom!"

A moment that is generally agreed to have had a significant influence on pop culture and everyday life. While the term was coined by Rose McGowan in context of the #MeToo movement, and is mostly associated with the K-pop community, the phenomenon is universal and a basic component of how culture works.
Real world events such as social/political movements, the election of a new U.S. President, major catastrophes and disasters, as well as entertainment such as movies, music and TV, can all function as cultural resets. Notable cultural resets in relatively recent memory include:
* The Beatles appearing on the Ed Sullivan show in 1964
* The Watergate scandal of 1974
* The release of Nevermind by Nirvana in 1991
* The September 11, 2001 attacks
* The election and inauguration of Barack Obama in 2009
* The COVID-19 pandemic

"The Nineties politically started with the fall of the Berlin Wall on November 9, 1989 and the Soviet Union dissolving on December 26, 1991, and ended with both the 2000 Presidential election which saw the victory of George W. Bush and the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 which left people so stupefied that it functioned as something of a cultural reset button." - TV Tropes' article on the 1990s

"The idea that such a man could ever be elected to any public office, let alone president, is just beyond Thunderdome."
"That shit is just straight up beyond Thunderdome."

Based off the 1985 George Miller Australian classic ‘Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome’, this is a futuristic time period after the pretty awful affects of COVID-19 have subsided.
Wide spread business shutdowns and self-isolation due to COVID19 has seen people horde everything from toilet paper, to meat and medical supplies.
People are quarantined and isolating in their homes, and social physical social engagements are strongly discouraged, with some countries threatening to charge people with criminal offences if they leave quarantine.
A sense of living in a dystopian society has descended.

I found this great recipe for a spaghetti bolognese. Maybe beyond thunderdome we’ll be able to get mince again.
Do you remember when we used to catch up for Friday night drinks at the pub? Maybe we can do that again beyond thunderdome

When a movie or television show goes beyond what the viewer can accept as possible, even in the realm of movie believability, effectively destroying the suspension of disbelief.
The refrigerator scene in Indiana Jones 4 was so beyond thunderdome, I couldn't take the film seriously after.
