Benny (Plural: Bennies)
A nickname given to people living on the Falkland Islands.
During the Falklands War, British troops noticed the similarities of many of the Falklands Islanders, to a Character from a British soap opera, ('Crossroads')

In this soap opera, Benny was a simple (mentally challenged) odd job man, known for wearing old knitted jumpers and a woolly bobble hat.

Military top brass stopped the soldiers calling the Islanders Bennies, so the soldiers started calling the Islanders 'Stills' (meaning, 'still Bennies')

The Falkland islands is still a major outpost for the British Military (mainly Navy) and the Islnders are still referred to as 'Bennies' and 'Stills'

This is simply one of the most disgraceful things someone could say to you. A Bennis usually refers to someone just absolutely sucking at life. With a bennis, you should beware of flaunting it and make sure you hide it at all costs as it’s appearance may haunt you for ages. Beware of the Bennis.

Court dimensions is half a Tennis court with a Basketball Net at one end and a Five a side goal at the other.

If you are fortunate enough to find a place who did not have enough room for a tennis court and set up as described above then you have found Bennis.
Locations found so far have been in Maspalomas at Parque Nogal.

“Crazy Bennis” involves playing an 18 hole crazy golf setup in a two metre allyway prior to Bennis to decide who starts in goal and who starts at the Basket end.

Rules of engagement:
1st find out who starts with the Crazy Golf
2nd You cannot cross the halfway line until you score to swap sides
3rd Kickoff from Basketball side if you score swap sides
4th if saved and you keep the ball you can shoot from up to the halfway line to score a point. (goals do not count as points, only to swap sides)

A slang term for the drug "Benzedrine" that came into the U.S. around 1928 as inhalers, and later on in tablet form. It is a stimulant similar to methamphetamine.

A tourist who visits the Jersey shore from Bayonne, Elizabeth, Newark, or New York (or anywhere near these places.) These tourists pollute the beaches and are rude to the local.
