Refers to a girl who is physically quite average, but when she goes clubbing--with her make-up, hair-do, cleavage and tight jeans--and is viewed under the dim flattering lights, looks really good.

BEAUTY BAR, the vintage salon-styled cocktail lounge with outposts currently in six cities (New York, Los Angels, San Francisco, San Diego, Las Vegas and Austin), was born in 1995 on 14th Street in Manhattan at the already existing Thomas Beauty Salon.
