Literally, "Big Mother F**ker In Charge", a term coined by workers to describe the manager with the greatest amount of oversight at their place of employment using the popular anacronym-as-job-description format so popular in corporate culture (CEO, COO, GM, etc.). May also be used in reference to anyone that assumes authority in a given situation.
"You want to go to lunch now? Hang on, and I'll check with the BMFIC..."
