To get BHVR’d (pronounced “Behavior’d”) means to play your cards right, do what was required of you, beat the system, and generally earn your victory, only to have your efforts thwarted by a factor completely out of your control. The term comes from Canadian video game development team Behaviour “BHVR” Interactive, creators of Dead By Daylight, a game notorious for screwing its players over with poor optimization, badly-designed hitboxes, and the worst dedicated servers known to mankind.
