One of the best anime shows of the year 2013 by production I.G. The graphics and atmosphere will blow your minds out but the theme has raised debates. It's one of those shows where tons of people die in battles, including your favorite ones, so if you really hate that, you might not want to watch it.

They have lived peacefully for a long time, but conflict starts when the walls get broken by two powerful titans and humanity is forced to flee into one of the inner walls. This show kills off a lot of characters, and has a lot of blood and gore in it. If you aren't bothered by that you'd probably enjoy it.
