A state of intoxication in which a person may (hopefully) be after consuming a number of drugs including but not limited to Ice, MDMA, Dexies, Pingers, and most commonly Speed. All of these drugs are types of Amphetamines, hence the name. Similar to saying that a marijuana-smoker is "stoned", or that an alcohol consumer is "drunk".
