Alaskatarians are Alaskans who generally call themselves vegetarians, but when you offer them meat or fish that you killed or harvested, they almost always jump at the offer.
Myra: “I’m vegan and gluten free.”
Kelly: “Do you wanna come over to eat fish that I caught in the Kenai River and this caribou that my dad shot up in the Brooks Range?”
Myra: “Absolutely! I’ll bring over some blueberries and cranberries for dessert.”
Kelly: “You’re a real Alaskatarian.”
