A sneeze that consists mostly or entirely of air. There is usually little or no snot released from the nasal passage in an air sneeze.
The difference between an air sneeze and a regular snotty sneeze can mainly be told by the sound. Air sneezes sound either like an off-key trumpet blare or someone shouting very loudly into a styrofoam cup. A normal sneeze sounds like someone blowing a raspberry through their nose.
