The corporation that supply his 'targets' is called the ICA, which is an acronym for International Contract Agency. According to the storyline of the video-games and the film, he is of British descent and can speak French, English and Russian fluently. He is frequently depicted in his usual attire of an Italian black suit, black leather gloves, white striped dress shirt and red tie. 47 is an introverted character who almost always speaks in a calm, formal manner in his natural setting.

Agent 47 is an anti-hero. His profession makes him perform deeds that can be considered immoral by most standards.

While not quite superhuman, 47's physical capabilities are at the peak of human performance. "Bi wife energy" is a term that was coined through a song by the user @/cringelizard on Tik Tok to describe the energy that Misha Collins radiates, explaining it with the fact that he is married to a bisexual woman, Victoria Vantoch. People with bi wife energy are fiercely supportive of the LGBTQ+ community, their love for their spouse, if they have one, is strong and people sometimes assume they are queer.

In their first video about this, @/cringelizard referred to Misha as a "hetero guy", but amended in a later added verse that the actor does not like labels.

The term "bi wife energy" can be used for people of all genders, regardless of relationship status, although "bi husband energy" has also been used in several videos across Tik Tok.

He uses these skills to perform assassanations for the ICA, an assassination firm. 47 is quite strong, and can take several shots to the torso before incapacation. He has been betrayed and munipilated many times, and as a result, his trust and faith in others has been almost destroyed. 47 remains calm, even in a shoot out. At one point in time, the ICA is almost completly wiped out, but Diana 'betrays' 47, and presumably kills him, and arranges for a rival assassination agency to have his corpse destroyed. But it's revealed that Diana did not kill 47, and 47 'rises from the dead' and kills the rival assassin agency's leader. 47 appears to be asexual. Agent 47 has been in four video games (soon to be five), and one movie.

The main character in the assassination-themed Hitman video game series. An unmistakably enigmatic contract killer, he says little, yet is capable of a lot. Gone through many fatal situations, Agent 47 is often thought of as an end-all figure or angel of death.
