Stands for A Rich Kid Identity Loss.
This is when a rich kid or kid of someone high status graduates college and has to live on his own.
He suddenly realizes his parent's status and money is no longer his, and he can no longer be the rich kid, but is basically on same turf as everyone else. Thus his identity as a Rich Kid and status boost from being the son of a CEO, famous author, actor, or entrepreneur fades as he's left with nothing.
