A term coined from a well known (but true) folk tale. ‘A Julia’ refers to someone who is in denial of something that is obviously true. The origin of a term came from a girl named Julia, who couldn’t read whatsoever, yet she would swear that she could, even that she was an avid reader. Her name was eventually coined as a slang term.
He clearly can’t play violin, yet he claims to be a virtuous. What A Julia am I right?
