In several northern european countries "a Knudsen" is used to describe a person who is trying really hard to excel at something (i.e. chess og pie eating) but whose talent is absolutely hopeless and whose results are embarrasing and a lauging stock by everybody involved. Often it is done by people with an academic career which they believe enables them to take up activities far from their limited abilities.

A person who doesn't realize they are transgender yet, or is in denial; an undeveloped transgender person. When they realize, it's referred to as the "egg cracking."
