She used to light up every room without even trying. The jokes, the stories, the way she could turn a bad moment into something worth laughing about, people loved being around her. She felt unstoppable back then...
Months before the ugliest day ever 07/02
She’s still here, still smiling, still saying the right things… but it’s different now.
Every laugh feels forced, like she’s carrying something heavy behind it. She can play the old version of herself perfectly, but inside it feels empty. Exhausting.
What nobody saw was how much she was holding. She was the strong one...the 3 a.m. call, the shoulder for everyone else. She kept taking on more and more until one day she just cracked. No warning. Just done. The girl who always fixed everything finally couldn’t fix herself.
Now it’s like she’s stuck in something she can’t climb out of. She remembers what happy felt like, but she can’t reach it on her own. The sadness isn’t dramatic, it’s just heavy, all the time and you can see it in her eyes.
And for the first time, the person who never needed help actually does. She doesn’t want advice or pep talks. She just needs someone to reach in and help her up, because she’s too tired to pretend she can do it alone anymore. Or maybe... eventually she will
