The poop emoji is used in different ways. For example:

When a girl likes you and tags you in an Instagram post, she may put a 💩. She's trying to hide that she likes you with a poo symbol, but everyone knows she so totally likes you.

Example 2:

If someone hates you, and they are too innocent to cuss, they may use the 💩 emoji to replace the word "shit." For example:

Guy two: That hurts man.
