snow day

After a long day of school, going home on a cold winter evening, and going straight to sleep, we wake up, to see the holy rays of light right on our bed, as they guide us towards the window, where it's a snow wonderland. Quickly, we turn on the TV, and watch the news broadcast, as our school is suddenly closed. In great joy, we don't have to worry about the PTSD that we're given. It's a blessing from god himself, for the loyalty of those who have survived school without committing suicide or running away.

The idea of the snow day itself is basically when you've reached nirvana temporarily.

I looked outside this morning, and there was suddenly a snow day.

mattress of snow

the pile of snow left on top of a car after the owner(s) have cleared the windows off. This pile of snow closely resembles a mattress on top of the car and sits in the same place as a mattress would.

This pile of snow is usually left on the car by incompetent assholes who don't understand that when the snow falls off it could hurt someone.

the type of snow you would see in a painting sold in a mall home decor store, such as kirkland's. this snow is often light, fluffy, and covers the trees completely.

today while driving in the blizzard we all stopped to admire the scenery the kirkland's snow had created in our lovely michigan town.
