A cousin of the humble brag, the straight brag is shameless self promotion without regard to modesty or self humility. It is undeserved self praise, instantly recognized by friends and coworkers as a self coping mechanism designed to mask serious issues of self confidence.

April: "hey, how did it go over there today?"

Jenna: "I ruled, and they all loved me."

April: "God. You don't have to Straight Brag. Again."
