sinking bottles

A colloquialism used in the Upper Midwest for ice fishing. Ice fishing mainly involves putting a line into a hole in the ice and then drinking beer, playing cards, and watching sports. Empty beer bottles are dropped in the hole and filled with water to sink to the bottom of the lake. There are usually more bottles sunk than fish caught, thus you're in an ice house "sinking bottles".

Bryce and I spent about 5 hours sinking bottles and didn't catch a single fish. We did get a nice beer blanket on though!

Sticky bottle

Term used for a cheating technique in a bicycle race where a competitor is handed a hydration bottle out of a team car, but both people hold on to the bottle for a while allowing the rider to be towed along by the car for a few seconds instead of having to pedal.

Bradley Wiggins was struggling up a climb but Peter Sagan sticky bottled his way past. I don't know whether the judges caught it.

bottle hopping

Involves traveling from a club VIP table with bottle service to the another club with a available bottle. If done correctly little to no money is needed to drink in the club. This act is normally only accomplished successfully by attractive young females.

Kassie and I were bottle hopping the entire night while we were clubbing, until glass got in her eye from a bottle shattering.

When you take an empty resealable plastic bottle and squeeze the air out and fill it with a stinky fart and cap it. Finally you find an unsuspecting victim and open it and squeeze out the fart in their face.

My buddy was needing a payback for his shenanigans toward me so I gave him a message in a bottle.
