To get extremely excited about something.
When one usually gets-over hyped, they tend to feel the light and airy feeling in their chest.

Get the Hypemug. When you become blind to how bad a game or other piece of media is, due to the advertising and hype built up around it. Causing you to defend a clearly bad piece of content from criticism for no reason.

People had really bad hype-vision for fallout 76 when it first came out, the games still crap but it’s getting better.

Get the hip hypingmug. Also: Hype Casting
When an influencer, actor, or actress is cast in a role regardless of whether or not they're right for the role instead based on their trending status.
i.e. Pedro Pascal, Timothy Chalamet, and Zendaya were cast in the majority of blockbuster films in the early 2020s based on their ability to attract audiences and box office revenue regardless of their suitability for the role, or in some instances their talent.
Unlike Type Casting where an actor is reliably cast in a particular role.
i.e. the Action Hero is played by Jason Statham, regardless of the film

I wish they would put more effort into casting now a days it seems they just want to put the most Instagram, and Tiktok famous people in movies man, it sucks. Hype Casting totally ruins movies, cast people who can actually act!
