White Stripes

A band whose high sales and popularity are proof that the general public has no taste in music. White Stripes is comprised of people with *at most* 2 months of music instruction, zero vocal instruction, and a pseudo-70's low-fidelity sound. Music doesn't have to be complex to be fun to listen to (ie. Nirvana), but if it's both lacking structure AND annoying to listen to, you have a crappy band on your hands.

Guy 1: Hey, wanna go to the White Stripes concert?
Guy 2: No.
Guy 1: Why not?
Guy 2: Because I like bands that don't suck.
Guy 1: What are you talking about? White Stripes is a great band.
Guy 2: Why do you say that?
Guy 1: Because my friends told me so.
Guy 2: Oh, so you're unable to form your own opinions.
Guy 1: Yes.
Guy 2: I thought so.

A person that is caucasian most likely or albino... or just doesnt get out enough to get a tan. Usually american or British. Not too easy to be racist against caucasians. Words such as honky and cracka just arent insulting!

White people are immune to insult, well kinda.

White Plains

A boring, phony, sterile "city" in Westchester. Has a lot of malls though little culture, flavor, or character to it. Basically a more built-up version of affluent suburbia, calling it a "city" is misleading.

White Plains just seems to perfect to me...it seems more planned than evolved, unlike Yonkers, a haphazard mess of everything.
