1. ORIGINAL Defintion: "Super Wild Ass Guess"

This term arose out of the military from WWII, generally attributed to field artillery officers who asked their spotters to "swag it" when asked for an approximation of how to adjust. This expanded to all of the military, and then entered use by the rest of the world. "Swag" with this meaning has been around for nearly 70 years and is still used widely in the military and business world to this day.

2. Something given out to everyone within a specific group of people, be it the PTA, or all the attendants of a seminar, or even all the people visiting a certain booth at a convention. Also items within a bag of the same name as in "Swag bag"

3. Very recently (late 2000s, early 2010s), coming out of the ghetto, a shortening of the word swagger, used in place of extreme confidence/cocky attitude. Also see tude
1. "I dunno exactly how far away I could hit a target with the M107, but I'd take a SWAG at 2 miles, at least."
or
"Can't tell you precisely what revenues were last year, but I could swag it at $10 million or so."

2. "O! M! G! Did you see all the swag we're getting this year Becky!?! And just for going to cheerleader camp!?!"

3. "Dat's right mutha-fucka, she's wit me, cuz I got swag!"

SWAG is an acronym meaning "Stuff We All Get." The term was created by convention regulars to describe all the stuff they get whenever they go to conventions. There's good SWAG (cool freebies, drinks, etc.) and bad SWAG (flyers, useless information printouts, ads, and business cards).

SWAG is not to be confused with "swag" which is abbreviated from "swagger". "swag" in this context is used to describe a style, a strut, a brag, a boast, or a vaunt.

'I just fell down, lol, SWAG.' 'SWAGNIFICENT' '(your name) idontgiveafuq gotsswagg' 'lives in swagtown' 'works at swagville' 'That show was so SWAG.' 'I just finished brushing my teeth, SWAG.' 'Hey guys, just woke up, SWAG.' 'Lol, I got kicked out of class, SWAG.' 'I cursed the teacher out, SWAG.' 'Tumbling on tumblr in class, SWAG.' '(your name) the swag god' 'texting in class, SWAG' ... You: 'I got swag.'
Me: 'That's because you're a fucking retard trying to be like the rest of the try hards thinking their dumb ass have swag.'

One of the most overused words nowadays. Primarily used by the same people that use terms such as "YOLO", meaning it is mostly used by douchebags wearing their hats sideways and their pants so low they'll trip and fall if they attempt to walk any faster than a sloth.

Also stands for "Secretley We Are Gay"
Daniel: "Man, I'm soooo Swag!"
Filip: "Wow, I didn't know you were gay :O"

A term reinvented by the younger generation. Swag is an abstract and often intangible concept. Generally is used to describe a certain way of carrying oneself that conveys a certain effortlessness in all aspects of life - someone who has "swag" employs a fluid body language and lazy or careless behavior to give off a sense of inner peace and absolute confidence. Clothing also plays a large role in one's swag - generally it is associated with urban hip-hop themed apparel, generally with either bright colors or the prominent use of white so as to appear more "clean". this look does not work for everyone, and is generally only used by the upper class. more poverty-ridden individuals who seek swag can use a variety of clothes - ultimately swag is not about one particular style, but about the individual's ability to find and maintain a style that suits their personality.
"Damn son what are you tryna do with them jordans? How long you been saving up for that shit? You be wearing them bright white jordans with your plaid shirt and your ratty-ass dreadlocks, nah son. Nah. you walk around your block in that shit you gon get shot."

"Damn son Nardwuar has more swag than most rappers. He nerdy as all get out but he don't give a fuck."
