Wheeler School

A school for all the kids who weren't good enough to get into Moses Brown. They wear stupid clothes, throw stupid parties, and are, in general, just stupid. They are known by the larger community as "skanks" and "hoes." The girls have a reputation of being "slutty" and the guys have a reputation of being "gay." There are very few exceptions to this definition.

"Hey, why is that girl making out with that gay guy on Thayer?"
"Oh don't worry. They go to the Wheeler School."

This is a private school in Houston, Texas. Very irrelevant kids go there, the girls there are not attractive. The boys are weird. These kids need help.

Scattered across the nation, they are places where the evil, vicious, and stupid are kept away from decent society for a few years. Not to be confused with prison, though they both have the effect of releasing people in a more disturbed condition than they came in.

It's amazing how similar oral examinations in law school are to going before a parole board.

Waldorf Schools

Waldorf Schools are a type of school popular in Europe and North America. Waldorf Schools are descended from the original Waldorf school in Germany, founded in the late 1800s by a racist German man named Rudolf Steiner. They closely resemble a cult, banning electronics from school grounds, celebrating obscure pagan festivals such as Michaelmas, banning candy and other sugary treats from school grounds and serving only organic meals to the kids. Many don't have a science class, while almost all have knitting, woodwork, Latin, chorus and orchestra as mandatory classes. They tend to be christian and conservative.
