as described from the video game bioshock, a citizen of the underwater city of rapture that has changed his genetic DNA codes so many times with the addictive genetic material ADAM, that his or her body has become biologically unstable. In order to save these mutants they have been permanitly sealed inside of nearly invincible bio-hazard suits. with there minds destroyed from excessive plasmid use, they are given thier final job to protect the little sisters, who harvest ADAM from the blood of the dead. in exchange for protection the little sisters fuel the big daddy's addiction with gifts of ADAM. they protect the little sisters with thier lives and will do so until someone suceeds in killing "it"

the big daddy protects the little sister, she gives him ADAM, he keeps her safe.
