Get the The Bishop's School mug.The Potomac School is one of the best schools in Virginia. The academics are hard and the people are all very nice. Potomac students do a large amount of community service throughout the year and are very disciplined. There are a lot of drugs and drinking problems but this is what you get at any school with large amounts of money. The girls are all very pretty and the boys are very smart. All in all if you are looking at private schools in Virginia, Potomac is the place to be.

Get the Potomac School mug.An independent co-educational school in East Providence RI. Founded in 1910 by Dr. Helen West Cooke, it's original campus was a small house on Angel St. in Providence. In the early 60's however, a far larger and more suitable campus was built just off of Narraganset Bay in East Providence.
Gordon's founded, Dr. Cooke had originally created the school to provide an alternative school for her son Gordon, whom the school is named after. She wanted him to be educated alongside girls in a diverse "open air" environment where students would be stimulated and challenged as well as learn to enjoy learning. Classes would be held with open windows whenever the weather permitted, and students would be taken outside most days. The Gordon School was one of the first schools in the country to be integrated, and remains to this day one of the more diverse private schools in the state.

It is most well known for it's arts department, and most notably its Theater, which is noted as one of the best in the state.

Get the The Prout School mug.Friends School of Baltimore is strong on the Quaker thing--peace and equality and stuff like that. No uniforms either, which is cool. Might look easygoing because of that, but it's got a rep for having hard classes. Compare their school paper with Gilman's or Bryn Mawr's, and you'll see the difference. Sports-wise Friends is pretty strong, considering it's got fewer guys or girls to make up teams with, since it's co-ed.
