1. slang term for an alcoholic drinking break during work hours, especially for workers at fairs and festivals where the hours are long and you have to deal with people. A highly social occasion during which flasks and bottles are passed around, everyone lets off steam, and random bites and kisses are exchanged. Can degrade (or upgrade, depending how you look at it) into a multiple-person make-out session depending on whether anyone brought drambui.

The Burning Times

One of the biggest misconceptions in the world. Contrary to some "Wiccans" beliefs, the Burning Times did not involve the mass hunting and burning of "witches." People weren't hiding their practice of "witchcraft" to prevent themselves from being killed. One african woman was practicing her native religion, likely a form of spirit worship such as voodoo. That was about it. Nearly all other accusations of "witchcraft" were because of things like make-up, adultury, and herb-lore.

Cautious Politician Time. When a friend of a candidate for the presidency makes a racist comment while the candidate stands next to them and, instead of saying "That's not cool, Bill," later "clarifies" the comment by inventing a definition that nobody in the history of anything has ever used.
